Windows 7 - Software Restriction Policies

Restrict User from Installing Software but only Administrator are Allowed to Install

1. Log-in to your Account with Administrator Privilege
2. Start > Control Panel.
   
3. Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Open
   
4. Administrative Tools > Local Security Policy > Open
   
5. Local Security Policy > Software Restriction Policies > New Software Restriction Policies
   
6. Software Restriction Policies > Enforcement > Properties
   
7. Enforcement Properties
   Apply software restriction policies to the following:
   Select "All software files except libraries(such as DLLs)"
   Apply software restriction policies to the following users:
   Select "All users except local administrators"
   When applying software restriction policies:
   Select "Ignore certificate rules"
   Apply > OK > Restart your Computer.
   
8. Log-in to Account with User or Power user Privilege only
   The try to install Software and you will see this warning!

How to setup or change the WiFi password and SSID on CD-R King CW-5354U WiFi Router
Tomato Version 1.28 (Firmware)

1. Power up your router and connect the LAN directly to your computer.
   Open a web browser type the IP address of your WiFi router e.g.(192.168.1.1), you can locate your router IP address at the back of your router or manuals.
   My router IP is (172.168.10.1)-(already modified)
   Username: admin (default)
   Password: admin (default)
   Click "Log In"

2. Basic > Network > Wireless
   SSID: taurus_home (you can change the SSID or Name of Signal what ever name you want)
   Shared Key: XXXXXXXXX (you can put any password with Alphabetical, Numerical and Special Character for strong security to avoid WiFi Hacker)
   
3. Click Save and Reboot.
4. After Rebooting the router now try to access you WiFi using your new password.

Windows XP - Software Restriction Policies

2. Start > Setting > Control Panel
   
3. Administrative Tools > Open
   
4. Local Security Policy > Open
   
5. Software Restriction Policies > Create New Policies
   
6. Software Restriction Policies > Enforcement > Properties
   
7. Enforcement Properties > Apply software restriction policies to the following:
   Select “All software except libraries (such as DLLs)”
   Apply software restriction policies to the following users:
   Select” All users except local administrators”.
   
8. Click “Apply” and “OK” then reboot your computer.
9. Log on into Users Accounts or Power user Accounts then try to install any software’s and it will require an Administrator Username and Password or else it failed to install.
